Isaiah 43:11

Only God alone can give you eternal salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. The LORD speaks emphatically in His Word, reminding His people that only through Him you can receive salvation. He connects His own name with salvation. The LORD’S invitation to follow Him and receive Him as Lord and Savior is personal. There is no other way to the Father or Heaven except through Jesus Christ. If you have not put your hope and trust in Jesus, it is never too late, for Jesus is waiting and standing with open arms to receive those who put their faith in Him.

Psalm 17:2

As humans we tend to take matters into our own hands. However, if we wait upon the Lord for guidance and deliverance we will know for sure that it is His work and not our own. Those who take refuge in Him will receive vindication in due time. The Lord is a righteous and fair judge. He will not let the righteous be shaken.

Psalm 84:5

Those who put their hope in the Lord shall never be put to shame. For the Lord will strengthen those who are weak. When we set our hearts after seeking God’s strength and not our own, we realize that His strength always outweighs ours.

Food for thought…
This Bible Verse reflects how we honor God through our obedience to Him. Whatever you find yourself to do as work with your hands, through spoken words or through acts and deeds do it for the Lord Jesus with a thankful heart giving thanks to God the Father through Jesus Christ. We should earnestly seek to please our Heavenly Father above all others. If we truly walk in obedience to God, then we would be good stewards with what and who God has blessed us with. On a personal level, we should always go to God in prayer with Thanksgiving, before we make any other requests before Him. God honors those who go before Him with sincerity and a heart of thanksgiving.

Jesus,

I know that you are the Son of God and that You died for my sins on the cross so that I could be free and forgiven. Please forgive me of my sins and cleanse me of all my wrongdoing. I receive You into my heart as Lord and Savior today, and I accept Your gift of eternal life, which is promised to all who believe in You. Please reveal Yourself to me and teach me Your ways. I invite You into my heart and into my life to walk with me each day. And I will follow You all the days of my life. Thank You for loving me.

Amen.

What does it mean to build your house on the rock? Who is the rock?

The rock is Jesus Christ our firm foundation. Building your house or your (Soul) on the rock means putting your faith and trust in Christ on a daily basis. Grounding yourself through the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit will enable you to get through the storms of life when they do come. And the storms of life will come, but if you are grounded on the rock, you can be sure that you will not fall.

(He) is referring to Jesus. Jesus was with God in the beginning of all creation. Through Jesus all things were made, through Him and for Him. This verse emphasizes Jesus’ role as the messenger of the Father, it also explains that He is the only way to return to the Father. As Christians we each have a personal testimony that can help lead others to Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Him.
