Ephesians 3:19 – And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

The love of Christ is too hard to comprehend in human terms. It is a profound personal experience that can only be comprehended through a personal relationship with Jesus. To be filled with the fullness of God is to be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is when God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit takes up residence in your heart. It is a complete transformation allowing God’s presence, grace and power to take hold of your heart and your life. It is a complete surrender of your life and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you into the fullness of God.

John 13:7

John 13:7 – Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”

This Bible Verse details the importance of having faith in God and trusting in His timing. Even though we may go through difficult and challenging times, it is important to remain steadfast in our faith. God’s plans are not our plans and His ways are not our ways. His plan and purpose for our lives will become more clear as we meditate on the Word of God and trust in His timing.

Likewise, while Jesus was washing His disciples feet speaking these very words to the Apostle Peter, He made it clear to him, that unless Jesus washes him, he doesn’t really belong to Him. Jesus was explaining the importance of waiting and receiving the Holy Spirit, which was later given to the disciples and believers after He ascended to Heaven.

Today we have the opportunity to wait on the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom, guidance and discernment. Trust that the Lord is with you and for you. Ask for the the Holy Spirit to lead you and to guide you into God’s purpose for your life.

“Ask and you shall receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you.” For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

The Lord desires an open and receptive heart that is willing to have a personal relationship with Him. For those who truly love God will seek Him continually. Search for Him and you will find Him.

Micah 7:8 – Do not rejoice over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will stand up; though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.

Even though there are temporary setbacks and sufferings, the Lord will still bring something good out of them. Even when you fall, the Lord will lift you up. Though you may feel like you are in complete darkness, the Lord will be your light and your salvation.
