What does it mean to wait upon the Lord? In the scriptures, the word wait means to hope, to anticipate, and to trust with faith. Those who earnestly put their trust in God will never be put to shame for the Lord rewards those who truly seek Him. God’s timing is always perfect. Even when we are asked to wait patiently, the patience produces in us endurance and perseverance which enables us to hold on steadfast until the Lord delivers us.
1 John 5:14
Psalm 13:5

Isaiah 42:6
Jesus Christ came as Righteous and Holy in His nature. We as believers should try to exemplify His character. He will hold our hand, leading us and guiding us down the right path according to His purpose for our lives. His promise onto us is that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Let the Light of Christ shine in you and through you, that you may truly exemplify His character.
Matthew 5:16
If you have received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have the light of life inside of you. Being a light to others also means responding with kindness and compassion. Everyone of us has an opportunity each day to be a light in someone’s life. Let’s share the light which is Jesus Christ himself to the ones that are in need.
Psalm 18:28
The Word of God is living it turns darkness into light. Those who put their hope in God shall never be put to shame because God is faithful. God’s Word never comes back void because it is the Living Word. It brings peace to those who are anxious, it brings hope to those who are hopeless, it brings faith to those who are faithless, it gives strength to those who are weak, it brings light to those who are in darkness. For where light shines the darkness has to flee.
Daniel 12:3
