Letters for God (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through lettersforgod.com, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. Depending on how you use the site, you may provide your name, email address, prayer request, contact message, guest-reflection title and content, images or attachments, book recommendations, and newsletter subscription information.
Reactions and local storage. When you select the Love button, we record an aggregate count for that reflection. Your browser may store a local marker so it can remember that you already reacted. We do not use the reaction feature to identify you.
Technical information. Our hosting provider may automatically process standard server information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs to deliver, protect, and maintain the site.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the website; deliver requested emails; manage subscriptions and unsubscribe requests; respond to messages and prayer requests; review, edit, approve, or decline guest submissions and book recommendations; publish approved content; prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
3. Prayer requests
Prayer requests are intended for the private prayer inbox unless you separately authorize publication. Please avoid including sensitive information about another person without their permission. Although we take reasonable care, online communications cannot be guaranteed to be completely confidential or secure.
4. Guest submissions
Guest submissions remain private while pending review. If approved, the submitted title, reflection, image, author name, and any edits accepted during review may be published publicly. Your email address is used for editorial communication and is not displayed with the post.
5. Email communications
If you subscribe, we use your email address to send new-reflection updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in those emails. We may still send transactional messages that you request, such as confirmation that a guest reflection was approved.
6. How information is shared
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us host the site, store data, secure the service, or deliver email. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a business transfer. Public content is shared only as described in this policy or at your direction.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including editorial, security, recordkeeping, and legal needs. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

9. Children’s privacy
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it.
